Lust

Made as part of a workshop at the maine media college in rockport, lust is a poetic representation of the mental deterioration of an old man.

The film opens showing our character walking a child's bike down into a barn. The bike represents his childhood and how little the man still remembers.

the camera cuts inside the barn revealing walls covered in graffiti and piles of random objects including three speakers.
The chaos of the background music represents the confusion of his thoughts.

the camera follows the man through the barn revealing more painted walls. The graffiti, like his memories, are all jumbled together and nonsensical, yet the man still smiles looking at them.

the film closes with the man walking into the distance holding an inflatable whale. The whale represents all of the people he once knew that, even though they're forgotten memories, are still an important part of him
